Located in Palmetto Bay, FL, Perrine Elementary School was named after Henry Perrine who was a local horticulturist and helped establish the land that was to become Perrinesville. The area has a long and interesting history. Perrine Elementary School is dedicated to helping students become proficient in the learning part of everyday life, but also to promote artistic excellence. Perrine Elementary School incorporates a Magnet Arts Program, which includes classes in art history, theory, and criticism, with classical and contemporary art instruction. Two and three-dimensional compositions are developed with emphasis on drawing, painting, printmaking, digital art, ceramics and sculpture in a studio setting. Artwork from the students is displayed throughout the community, and they are very proud of the students who have partaken in the arts.

The only fully accredited Montessori school in Florida, Alexander Montessori School can also boast that it is the largest and oldest Montessori school in the southeastern part of the United States. Their program includes children from 18 months to 12 years of age, and their focus is on those whose first language is not English. Palmer Trinity School is an Episcopal school that renders to their students an education of strong academics, athletics and spiritual formation.
