The Miami Museum of Science, located just south of the Brickell neighborhood in Downtown Miami, provides fun ways for children, and people of all ages to understand the nature of science. There are many hands-on activities to study astrology, the human body, and animals. The Miami Museum of Science has a planetarium and a unique wild animal center where snakes, reptiles, turtles and birds of prey all live. Presentations of the stars are performed several times a day in the planetarium. One of their special exhibits is their Hurricane: Storm Science Center, where visitors can see a hurricane from inside; as well as learn how to forecast the weather, and learn how to use weather instruments.
